I really do appreciate that you enjoy my artwork, but as I've stated in a few journals before I am no longer using this account to post new artwork. If you really do like my work, than please DeviantWatch me here :iconvoudon: . You don't even have to watch me if you don't want to, just check out my stuff. All I'm saying, is that it's pretty pointless to watch me on this account because nothing is going to be happening here.

So thank you very much for your appreciation of my artwork, but I have a new account and that's where all the action is going to be happening.

This will be the last time that I state this, I promise!!

To everyone who DeviantWatches me, I very much appreciate that you enjoy my work and everything, but X-menForever is closed down.

You can now find me here: voudon.deviantart.com/

That is where all my new works will be uploaded and where all activity from me is going to be. That is where you should be watching me. There's no point to be watching me on this page anymore because nothing is really going to be happening here.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. :)

I moved. For realz this time. This is where you can find me :iconvoudon:

I really have some great stuff over there (at least I think so), but no watchers and no one really looks at my stuff I guess cause I'm not popular on that page. So please, if you watch me on here (or even if you don't!) please go watch me over there because that's where all my new stuff is going to be posted. X-menForever is kinda shut down now, although I will still come visit this page to check messages and stuff.

Please help me out, my new page seems dead. D:

I'm trying...

1 min read
I'm trying to be more productive with my art. Haven't really drawn anything new but I found a bunch of my old sketches and I plan on fixing 'em all up and coloring them and eventually uploading them. I made even upload some of the old comic pages I made in high school... of course those drawings are a couple of years old, and they suck. But whatever, they gave me a pretty good laugh. :D

I do this because I wanna give my watchers... something to watch. Lol.

That's all I gotta say. So until next time, my lovies. :)

THIS MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!

I know most people were very disappointed with the film and it got horrible reviews. I'll be honest I was a little disappointed but at the same time I didn't really care. Shyamalan really could have done much better then he had and it seemed like he was changing almost the entire storyline to his liking, but for me I'm used to that because Alan Ball does the same thing for True Blood so I've learned to separate the originals from their movies/shows. I didn't expect huge Avatar fans to be able to do that.

Now about the name pronouciations, although it disturbed me a bit I was also kinda glad that they did it. People need to realize that most names are not pronounced the way they look. For example, my name is Adriana- most people will pronounce that Ay-dri-anna. It is actually pronounced Ah-dri-ah-na. Almost everyone in the Avatar show's name was pronounced the way it looked and I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, but realistically they're not usually pronounced that way.

About the race thing... I just think people blew that whole thing out of proportion. I highly doubt that the producers were blantly being racist to Asian people. First of all, The Last Airbender wasn't even made in China or Japan or anywhere Asia. It was made in America. If anyone should be playing the race card, it's the Inuit people because there were like none of them in the movie. Sokka and Katara were basically Inuit in the cartoon. Seriously.

Now for the timing of the film. Shyamalan definately could have made it longer therefore adding more into it. But then there are the budgets and everything and he already spent so much on the graphics and stuff (which were okay but nothing to brag about).

The acting... I'm going to be honest and say that I thought Jackson Rathbone could have done much better and did not do Sokka justice at all. He had one funny line and that's it. Nicola Peltz was alright but she could have been more kickass like Katara was in the TV show. Aang was pretty cool but he acted too mature, not really much like a kid. Dev Patel... PERFECT! I can't see anyone else play Zuko now because of him. Iroh, even though he wasn't much like the one in the cartoon I still loved him. Commander Zhao was epic.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE FILM: If they do end up making a sequel- Get a new director. M. Night Shyamalan just makes the fans angry and making the fans angry can be disastrous. Oh, and make the movie longer... for the Last Air Bender the movie would have to be at least like three hours, maybe two hours and a half. You need to get as much as you possibly can into it.

Before anyone flips out on me, I didn't write this to offend anyone. I'm just giving my honest opinion. That's what America is all about, right? That and pronouncing names wrong. JK... (but not really).
